Westcon-Comstor is delighted that Cato Networks has joined its AWS Marketplace programme, unlocking new growth opportunities for channel partners while fuelling Cato’s cloud marketplace momentum. The addition of Cato Networks to Westcon-Comstor’s AWS Marketplace programme follows the signing of a distribution agreement between the two companies last November.
Daniel Hurel, Senior Vice President, Westcon EMEA Go-To-Market at Westcon-Comstor, has said:
“Welcoming Cato Networks into our AWS Marketplace programme further strengthens the commercial proposition we offer. Partners want faster routes to revenue and buying models that match how customers fund cloud programmes. Enabling Cato procurement through AWS Marketplace helps partners shorten sales cycles and align with committed cloud spend while scaling adoption of a channel-friendly SASE platform that meets real customer demand.”
The platform offers multi-currency functionality and supports multi-product solutions – a recent AWS Marketplace enhancement that allows partners to combine multiple products and services into comprehensive solutions tailored to specific industries and customer use cases. Partners receive guidance, enablement and advisory services from a dedicated, in-house Westcon-Comstor team as they scale their AWS Marketplace business.
Since launch the programme, which is based on the AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) model, has resulted in more than 100 deals worth tens of millions of dollars in total.
Westcon-Comstor Partner Benefits
Customers’ ability to spend their pre-committed AWS budgets on AWS Marketplace transactions enables partners to pursue land-and-expand strategies as they leverage Cato’s AI native, single-vendor SASE platform.
With Omdia forecasting that the IT channel will facilitate 59% of the projected US$163 billion spend via hyperscaler cloud marketplaces in 2030, the agreement with Cato underscores Westcon-Comstor’s commitment to ensuring its partners capture a piece of the growth.
Karl Soderlund, Global Channel Chief at Cato Networks, enthusiastically stated:
“We look forward to collaborating with Westcon-Comstor and leverage their market-leading AWS Marketplace programme to expand how partners deliver the Cato SASE Platform to customers. By combining Westcon’s global partner ecosystem with AWS Marketplace, we are making it easier for customers to leverage existing AWS commitments to adopt the Cato SASE Platform. This collaboration simplifies procurement while enabling partners to deliver Cato’s AI-driven security and networking capabilities through a scalable marketplace model.”
